IT TAKES A VILLAGE to make a movie...
Have you ever wondered how independent filmmakers manage to scrape together the money for their projects? Well, first off, they beg and borrow from friends and family. In this case, you. SourAPPLE Productions is embarking on a grassroots campaign to raise the funds for its premiere documentary, On The Eve Of War. This is how it works: if we can get 500 people to donate $20.00 each to this project then we will have our budget. Ten thousand dollars is pretty cheap considering what we hope to accomplish with this piece.
And the best news is donations to this film are tax deductible . SourAPPLE has received non-profit sponsorship from Film Action Oregon here in Portland, OR. All donors will receive a receipt indicating the amount of your donation and our non-profit tax status.
In return for your support you will be included in the credits, be invited to the opening night gala and be given the immense satisfaction of being a Patron of the Arts. Questions? Concerns? Please call or email us at any time (we are both moms, we never sleep anyway).
To make a tax deductible donation, send checks, money orders, or envelopes full of dollar bills to:
